Doha, Qatar – The world champion is scheduled to win the Olympic Silver Champion, Niraj Chopra, to get the 2025th Athletic Season at the World Athletics League in Qatar on Friday.

The Olympic Olympic Olympic athlete walks in Tokyo 2021 and silver in Paris 2024-in the new season after a few weeks at home.

From facing a violent reaction to the social media to his invitation, Arshad, the Pakistani, to the Neeraj Chopra Classic Javelin event, to publicly pledged to support the Indian armed forces amid their war close to full against Pakistan and deal with the weight of expectations in the field-Chopra says he is happy to return to this field.

In this short chat with the island, the 27 -year -old star poured his ideas on mental pressure because he is a high -level athlete in India, Boon of Social Help, and the upcoming athletics season.

Al -Jazeera: How do you deal with mental pressure because you are a high -level athlete and celebrities in a sports country like India?
Niraj Chopra: The ability to win medals for my country is a great issue of pride for me, and to some extent, it takes care of some pressure.

As long as I focus on my tasks and challenges in this field, I am able to overcome mental challenges.

I am mostly training outside India, sometimes in South Africa during its season and in Europe during the competition season. When I return to India, I must rise to my public image and behave in a certain way, especially for care deals, and I do not enjoy it a lot.

Initially, after I succeeded in Tokyo games, it was difficult but with the passage of time and the help of some experienced athletes, I learned to deal with it.

Al -Jazeera: Is the blame on social media in some of this pressure?
Chopra:
Social media gave everyone a phone and internet connection, the platform and freedom in saying what they love and attack those who want.

Some people take social media to vent from their pent -up frustration. If they face any issues in their personal lives that cannot be broadcast, they aim for people on social media.

However, I try not to worry about such comments and focus on my work.

Al -Jazeera: Was there cases in which I felt the need to quit social media, and if it is related to it, would you be able to get out?
Chopra:
naturally. I can leave social media in the heartbeat if you want. I never feel that I am obligated to keep.

I am there to share my journey, promote sports and create a way for other athletes from my country.

I want to explain what is going on behind an international athlete.

I am not an impressive, I am athlete. Javelin is my career, not social media. I can quit social media very easily.

Al -Jazeera: You and Nadim’s counseling have turned on a sport centered around Europe by winning the successive Olympic medals in Javelin, but will this success be translated into field sport growth in South Asia?
Chopra:
Frankly, even a few years ago, I did not see a great future for athletics in India and I couldn’t find a way to transfer it to the fans.

Now, however, I began to see a change. For example, for the first time, four Indian athletes are part of her Diamond Diamond meeting this year, and this is a great sign. I am euphoria. This means that people sit and receive a note.

Javelin slowly has become a global event and is no longer limited to European athletes anymore.

Neeraj Chopra Classic, is a step in the same direction. I want to use it as a platform to display sports for Indian fans and help them grow.

Al -Jazeera: The Diamond State is the place where your season is about to enter. You have an Olympic silver medal under your belt, but your World Athletics Championship will be at stake this year. How do you feel about 2025?
Chopra:
I am ready and excited to get things. I have a new coach, who has a former Olympic gold medal, Jean Zelizny, who helped me make slight changes on a routine.

It took some time to adapt to changes, but I feel comfortable. I was anxious about some thigh problems, but everything in the past now.

I can’t wait to start the new season.

Al Jazeera: Your fans were ready to break the 90 -meter barrier for some time now. Does this pressure reach you and do you think this will be the year that exceeds 90 meters?
Chopra: I feel activated while I am in good condition.

In addition to the physical side, Zelizney has also passed advice that helps me deal with the mental part of being athletic. Helps keep pressure in the Gulf.

I was constantly training and performing, which is the basis for achieving the best results in this field. No one can predict what will happen on the day of competition, but I always look forward to overcoming my best.

Many Javelin athletes have given their best in Doha and aim to do the same on Friday.
