Jarell Quansah says his decision to leave Liverpool to Bayer Leverkusen was driven by the desire to get more regular football after feeling marginalized under the new director ARNE SLOT.
The 22 -year -old defender, who has risen at the Liverpool Academy, has made 58 big games for the club before the Anfield leaving in the summer.
Although he is seen as one of the brightest Reds horizons, Quansah started only four games in the Premier League last season-he suffered his position more when he was replaced at the end of the first half in the first competitive match in SLT responsible for “tactical reasons”.
He did not start a key player in the league until December and finally decided to request a new challenge abroad.
Leverkusen paid 35 million pounds to secure its services in July, providing the middle a new opportunity to play regular football at the highest level.
“I was learning from some of the best players around me at the time in Liverpool,” Qawana said.
“The ability to do this was good for my career. It has always been a large part of it. In this part of my career, 22 years (in January), I need hundreds of games to be in it.
“I think in general that this is the reason for making a decision and why I thought that going abroad was better for me.”
After it evolved during the reign of Jurgen Klopp and now adapting to life in the German League, Quansah continued his rise after a prominent summer in which England helped win the European U -21 Championship.
Despite the summons of up to five teams from the great England by Gareth Southgate, Lee Karsley and Thomas Tuchil, his janus continues to wait for his first international cover.
However, he insists that he enjoys the experience and is eager to achieve his penetration.
“It is not a strange feeling, I am really happy to be here,” he said. “It is always a great honor to get a summons and I am grateful to the manager so too. It is always related to learning from senior players who have more hats than me.
“I hope this is something I will achieve, a cover for England.”
On Thursday, England will face Wales in Wembley in one of the friendly before traveling to Latvia next Tuesday to obtain qualifiers in the World Cup-and QUANSAH can be in one line for his long-awaited appearance.
