Qatar has agreed to buy up to 210 Boeing aircraft, while US President Donald Trump has been tightened as the largest request from aircraft in the history of the American airline during his visit to the state of the Gulf.

The White House announced economic deals worth more than 243 billion dollars, as Qatar has become the latest oil -rich country to obtain praise from the president to buy it in the “first America” ​​investment policy while he was touring the Gulf in the pursuit of wonderful trade deals.

The White House said that the Qatar Airways, the state -owned national carrier, agreed to a $ 96 billion deal to gain up to 210 from the Boeing 787 plane from the Dreamliner and 777X plane, adding that it was “the largest demand in Boeing.”

“Congratulations to Boeing. Get these planes there,” Trump said at a signing ceremony with Sheikh Tarim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. “I just want to thank you. We have been friends for a long time.”

Boeing shares rose by 2.3 percent on Wednesday. Airlines often receive a discount from the price of the aircraft list you buy.

The White House said that other billion dollars in defense, energy and technology had been reached.
