Putin says Russia will achieve all targets militarily if Ukraine does not agree to the deal

President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready to fight to achieve all its goals if Ukraine does not agree to a deal.

He made statements in China after he attended a huge military parade seen as a challenge to Donald Trump and the United States -controlled global order.

The US President tried to persuade Putin to end the war, but the Russian leader, while he praised Trump’s sincere desire, has not yet done so.

UK Defense Minister John Healy said that BBC Trump has brought Putin to the table, but he did not rule out more pressure on him.

He said that countries like the United Kingdom were ready for “additional economic pressure on Putin … and providing additional assistance to Ukraine so that they could keep the fighting.”

Trump pulled Putin from international isolation last month when he hosted a meeting with him in Alaska.

He also tried to persuade Putin to meet Ukraine President Volodimir Zelinski.

“I have never ruled out the possibility of such a meeting. But is there any point? Let’s see,” Putin said on Wednesday.

Putin has hinted that security guarantees that Western allies of Ukraine have promised after a future peace agreement that will not be linked to the regions of Donbas, whose residents have chosen joining Russia-in a reference to the votes that were widely moved in the aftermath of the annexation.

On Thursday, the French President will host a meeting of the so -called coalition – a group of Ukraine allies.
