At the same time, our forces must be ready to repel the potential violations of Indian and provocations from the enemy, that is, from its aggressive actions,” Putin said in a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff Valerie Gerasimov, in a video clip that was shared by Karimin’s press service.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski described the ceasefire “another attempt by Putin to play with human life.” It was written on X that “the alerts of the raid are spread throughout Ukraine” and “Shahid drones in our sky revealing the real position of Putin on Easter and towards human life.”
Russia had refused to completely stop the shooting
In response to the announcement of the ceasefire, Ukrainian Foreign Secretary Andrei Sibha said that Kiev “unlerated or conditioned on the American suggestion for the temporary shooting for 30 days,” which was rejected by Russia.
“Putin has now made statements about his alleged preparation for the ceasefire. Thirty hours instead of 30 days,” he followed, and wrote on X. “Unfortunately, we had a long history of his statements that did not match his actions.”
Meanwhile, the two sides exchanged hundreds of prisoners on Saturday. The announcement of the ceasefire of Putin came after US President Donald Trump said on Friday that the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia “coming to its head” and insisted that there is no “playing” in pushing him to end the criminal war for three years.
Trump spoke shortly after Foreign Minister Marco Rubio warned The United States may “move” from trying to secure the Russian-Ukraine peace agreement if there is no progress in the coming days, after months of efforts failed to fight the fight.
US President Donald Trump says that the United States may “pass” in the peaceful peace talks between Ukraine and Russia unless progress occurs soon, but he hopes that this will not come. Russia has many conditions for the ceasefire that Ukraine rejects.
In January 2023, Putin ordered his forces in Ukraine to monitor one -side ceasefire for 36 hours on Christmas Orthodox. Zelenskyy refused to play for a time to prepare additional attacks.
