On Sunday, Russian President Putin indicated that he was ready to hold “direct negotiations” with Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinsky “without any preconditions” in Istanbul this week.

Andrei Yermak, the head of the Zelinski office, was expected to attend negotiations, but there was no official confirmation that he was still participating. Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet Turkish President Erdogan in Ankara on Thursday.
