The youngest victim of the alleged Pechier, who is four years old, is identified as Teddy, survived two heart attacks during the tonsils routine in 2016. He was the oldest victim of the alleged doctor 89.
The trial precedes an eight -year investigation that amazed the medical community. Pechier denied the charges.
Pechier was received upon his arrival at the court by many relatives, including the person who shouted: “Come on, Fredo.”
“It is necessary to put all cards on the table,” Pecier told Brockaster RTL earlier on Monday, adding that he had “strong arguments” in his defense.
In response to a question about the suffering of the families who will attend the trial, it is expected to continue until December, Bishier replied, “I completely understand her, but on the other hand, I am not responsible for their distress.”
Bishier, a thirteen father, faces life imprisonment if convicted. He is not currently being held but undergoing judicial supervision, and it is an alternative to detention before the trial.
“Waiting for this for 17 years,” says the victim’s daughter
Pechier has not practiced medicine since 2017, although he was authorized to work in 2023 as long as he did not come into contact with patients.
“I was waiting for this for 17 years,” said Amandine Ehlin, whose 53 -year -old father died with a heart attack during kidney surgery in 2008.
An autopsy detected an overdose of Yedocaine, a local anesthetic.
Prosecutor Etienne Mano said the case is “unprecedented in French legal history.”

An investigation was opened in 2017 after suspicious cardiac arrests during operations on patients who are considered low risks.
Pechier is suspected of manipulating paracetamol bags for his colleagues or anesthesia bags to create emergency situations in the operating room where he can intervene to show his refreshing talent.
“What he accused is the poisoning of healthy patients to harm colleagues who were in a conflict,” Manu said.
“Frederick Bishir was the first respondent when a heart attack occurred,” he added. “He always had a solution.”
Pechier blames “medical errors” by his colleagues in most of the poisoning.
Pechier “star” or criminal?
Some colleagues described Pechier as a “star anesthetist” while others said he happened to be arrogant and manipulated.
A co -worker claimed that Pechier “is sure he was the best” and I liked to “think of himself as Zorro”.
Throughout the investigation, the researchers examined more than 70 reports on “serious negative events”, medical terms of unexpected complications or deaths between patients.
Cases of 30 patients who suffered from a heart attack during surgery at St. Vincent and Franch Comet Policinic made this for experience.
“It is extremely easy to accuse people, it is difficult to prove things,” Randal Schwardorfer told reporters.
More than 150 civilian parties will be represented in the trial.
During the first two weeks, the court will examine the latest Pechier cases, and those that caused the suspicions of the investigators and led to his status under investigation in 2017.
After that, both the poisoning attributed to the doctor will be examined.
“It will be a legal marathon, but we are ready.” “All roads lead to Pechier.”
