President-elect says Trump and Chinese President discuss TikTok, trade and fentanyl

President-elect Donald Trump He said that he spoke by phone with the Chinese President Xi Jinping Friday about TikTok, fentanyl, trade and more.

Trump said in press statements: “The call was very good for both China and the United States.” Truth is a social function.

“I expect we will solve many problems together, starting immediately,” said the president-elect, who is scheduled to be sworn in on Monday.

“We discussed balancing trade with fentanyl, TikTok, and many other topics. President Xi and I will do our best to make the world more peaceful and safe!” Trump wrote.

Xi said after the call that he and Trump expressed hope for greater progress in US-China relations, Reuters reported, citing state broadcaster CCTV.

Trump’s talk with Xi about TikTok came as the Supreme Court is expected soon to issue a ruling on whether to uphold a federal law that effectively bans the popular video-sharing app in the United States.
