Key Dates: IPL 2026 Trade window

First Trade Window:

It opened at 9:00 am on June 10, 2025 (seven days after the end of the IPL 2025 on June 3).

It will remain open until 5:00 pm, seven days before the IPL 2026 auction. The auction date has not been announced.

The second trade window:

It opens at 9:00 am the next day to conclude the IPL 2026 auction.

Close at 5:00 pm, 30 days before the beginning of IPL 2026.

How does the IPL trade window work?

Types of deals:

Player’s bodies to the player: The teams exchange the players directly.

All trading requires approval from the IPL board.

Player eligibility:

Players can only be traded by privileges before the auction trading.

Medical checks:

Commercial Borders:

There is no cover on the number of trading, but each player can only be traded between the IPL 2025 and the IPL 2026.
