Pete Hegseth wants warriors, preparedness and lethality above all else

Pete Hegseth starred today in his more than 4-hour hearing to become Secretary of Defense. He spoke directly from the summit about his mission to bring the warrior spirit back to the Pentagon, rebuild the military, and reestablish deterrence on the global stage.

Pete Hegseth: “When President Trump chose me for this position, his primary charge was to bring a warrior culture back to the Department of Defense. Hegseth will be an unconventional change agent at the Pentagon. Disabled, even. This is what the country wants. He is also a man of faith who, like all of us, has made mistakes in the past. But, like all of us sinners, he is working to change himself. I listen:
