This initiative seeks to enhance the availability of critical minerals in the western markets, where exports have been restricted by China, Reuters.
Perpetua plans to issue a request for a proposal (RFP) to assess the technical and economic feasibility of the emerging processing facilities outside the site from third parties.
RFP will evaluate potential partners based on production capacity, financial stability, environmental performance and transportation reliability, among other criteria.
The RFP process will analyze the processed feasibility of a part of the Antimony reserve, which has an area of 148 million pounds for commercial use.
Perpetua is expected to issue a request to submit offers in the coming weeks, with a final decision expected by the fourth quarter of 2025, after reviewing due care.
“America needs safe and strong supplies from Antimem.
“The work was ongoing between the US military and Perpetua to progress in treating the course of the river to meet the needs of the defense; but the time has now come to respond to the needs of the industrial sectors and the United States.
“We encourage the emerging opportunities to expand the ability to process local minerals in America and intend to make informed decisions on the basis of the market when choosing a partner.”
Recently, Perpetua has received conditional approval from the US Forest service (USFC) to start developing Stibnite Gold Project.
The construction depends on the financial confirmation link agreed upon by USFS, the Ministry of Land in Idahu, and the Corps of Engineers in the US Army.
Antimony is recognized by the US Department of Interior as decisive minerals for national security and used in the manufacture of lead and solar panels.
