Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba fell on Ligue 1 in the Monaco role in a two -year deal.

The 2018 World Cup winner moved to France, Pogba returned to football after seven months without a club. The midfielder was a free agent after agreeing to the mutual termination of Juventus contract in November last year.

In a statement on its website, Ligue 1 announced: “Monaco is also happy to announce the arrival of Paul Pogba. The French world champion signed a seasonal deal, and is now linked to the emirate until June 30, 2027.”

Juventus decided to overcome Pogba after a four -year preliminary ban in February 2024 due to the crime of doping to 18 months.

The 32-year-old was free to return to football in March, when he started the 18-month period at the temporary ban, which was released in September 2023. However, Pogba did not appear with a professional appearance, as it was the last time as an alternative to his 2-0 victory over Yavle over Empoli.

In 2022, the midfielder Old Trafford left a free transfer to Juventus and continued to conduct 12 games during his second spell in Turin.

Pogba will link with the former defender of Tottenham and Bayern Munich defender Eric Deir, who also joined Ligue 1 in a free transfer this summer.
