The man accused of killing a winner of the Parks Casino in New Jersey was cleared of murder after a three -week trial.
A jury in Middlesx County has cleared Jikai Red John, 31, but a plot to commit an armed robbery, in a three -week trial that ended on September 26. Reed John was accused of killing a winner of the Parks Casino, after he followed the victim’s house early on the morning of October 26.
The jury found that public prosecutors could not prove that he did so categorically, as the claim depends on casino shots, short records and circumstantial evidence. The defense highlighted that there was no weapon for Red John’s weapon and there is no direct forensic evidence.

The victim was found, Sree Aravapalli, who suffers from fireworks at his Plainsboro home in New Jersey at about 3:30 am. He was transferred to the hospital and announced his death at 5:24 am. Before the shooting, Aravapalli won about $ 10,000 in Parx Casino, where the prosecutors claimed that Red John and another suspect, Devon Milcheur, targeted him as a result.
Surveillance footage showed two men watching Aravali all night, with a debit card that connects one of the men of John. Toll data showed that BMW is later connected to RIID-John, the same road as the Aravapalli. A search for Red John’s house revealed a 9 mm -loaded pistol, which is later arguing that it does not match the covers at the crime scene. Criminal evidence, such as fingerprints or DNA, was found at the scene.
Milcheur acknowledged that he was guilty of one charge of the first -class armed robbery and one of the second -class plot to commit an armed robbery and awaits the ruling. Reed John was accused of murder, armed theft, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, robbery, multiple weapons crimes, and witnesses.
The trial that concluded in September was his second trial, after the end of May 2025 procedures in a hanging jury. A conspiracy charge will be charged with ReID-John in court on October 10.
Violence associated with gambling is not a new phenomenon, with similar cases in Hollywood hills and Nevada.
