Panama announced an emergency in the main area of banana, after the stores were looted and buildings were looted in the ongoing protests on reforming pensions.

The government says that constitutional rights will be suspended over the next five days in the northwestern province of Boukas del Toro.

The procedure restricts freedom of movement and allows the police to make arrests without a judicial order.

The problems in the region began a month ago, when the Local Banana Workers Union joined a protest at the country level on the proposed retirement discounts and announced the strike.

“In the face of disrupting the regime and systematic violence, the state will implement its constitutional mandate to ensure peace,” said Juan Carlos Aureliac, Minister of the Presidency.

He added that the procedure would allow “the province to save” extremists.

The protests erupted across the Latin State in March due to the reform of pensions.

In Boukas del Toro, the turmoil has greatly led workers at the Banana Chiquita Brands.

The confrontation escalated last month after the company sacked thousands of amazing employees.

The demonstrators created road barriers in the province, and often collide with the police.

Earlier this week, the crowds were damaged by a Czechita Brands facilities as well as a local airport.
