Brighton says midfielder Matt Orili has a future with the club after joining a French team Marseille in a long loan late in the conversion day.
Denmark International joined Albion from Celtic last summer and started the first two games of the Premier League season before losing the victory over Manchester City at the end of last week.
He will now join Roberto de Zerby, former Albion coach, who led Marseille to second last season.
“He died with the opportunity to challenge himself at the highest level in France and the Champions League,” said director Fabian Herzeller.
“We have a lot of competition in midfield sites, and while we see the future of the long term here with us, this gives it the ability to more from the game.
“We will watch his progress throughout the season with Marseille, and we wish him success for the rest of the season.”
O’Riley recorded three times in Seagulls, including in the opening lot at home to Fulham last month.
