The CEO of Openai Sam Altman announced on Monday the launch of Agentkit, a tool for building and publishing artificial intelligence agents, at the company’s Dev Day event.
Altman said: “Agentkit is a full range of building blocks available on the AI Open platform designed to help you transfer agents from the initial model to production. It is all you need to create and improve the agent’s workflow with less friction.”
The launch highlights an OpenAi batch to increase the developer’s accreditation by making the construction of agents easier and easier. It also refers to a competitive step against other artificial intelligence platforms to provide integrated tools to build independent factors for institutions that can perform complex tasks, not only to respond to demands.
Agentkit was one of the many ads on Dev’s Day, including launching the ability to Building applications directly inside ChatgptWho struck 800 million weekly active users.
Agentkit includes some basic capabilities. The first is Builder Agent, which Altman described as Canva for construction agents.
“It is a quick and visual way to design logic, steps and ideas,” said Taman. “It has been designed over API responses that hundreds of thousands of developers are already used.”
The second ability of Agentkit is Chatkit, which provides a simple, inclusive chat interface that developers can use to bring chat experiences in their own applications.
“You can bring your own brand and your workflow, whatever makes your product unique,” Altman said.
Evals for agents offer tools to measure the performance of the artificial intelligence agent, including step -by -step tracking classification, data groups to evaluate individual agent components, automatic router improvement, and the ability to run rating on external models directly from the Openai platform.
Finally, Agentkit includes access to Openai connector record, so that developers can safely connect agents to internal tools and third -party systems through the “official control panel” while maintaining safety and control.
To prove how easy Agentkit is, Christina Huang, an Openai engineer, built Amnesty International and Amnesty International on stage in less than eight minutes.
“These are all the things that we wished for when we were trying to build our first agents,” Altman said, noting that Openai has already signed many launch partners who have already expanded the scope of agents using Agentkit.
