One was killed and at least six was wounded in a collective stabbing in Manitoba

Canadian police say one person died and at least six was wounded in a mass stabbing attack in the first Nations community in Manitoba.

On Thursday, the Canadian Royal Police (RCMP) said that the suspect had also died.

The accident, which the police described as “collective victims”, occurred in Holo Water Vers, a nation, about 200 km (124 miles) northeast of Wenipeg.

Eight people were transferred by air or ambulance to local hospitals, according to joint health, the provincial health authority, in a statement to the British Broadcasting Authority.

A spokesman said they had arrived with varying injuries.

Stars Air Ambulance confirmed that she had responded to the state of emergency on the hollow nation for the first water on Thursday morning and flew to the Health Sciences Center in Winbeig.

The main crime unit RCMP will lead the investigation.
