
Officials said at least one person had died and many others were injured after a train collided with a tanker and set out in southern Denmark.
The police said that the accident occurred between the cities of Tinglef and Kiflif in South Gotland, and that the officers were on the site.
The local TV2 company reported that the helicopters were sent to the scene and quoted local railway officials, saying that the train “hitting the mortar tanker” at the level crossing.
DSB railway operator DSB said it had closed the services between Tinglev and Sänderborg near the German border.

The photos from the scene showed a vehicle located on its side, and the passengers stood around the train tracks.
Police said that 95 passengers were on board, including students from a school in Songburg. Two people were transferred by a helicopter.
The National Railways BandanMark wrote on X that the collision occurred at the railway crossing. According to the local media, at least two train cars were left.
