The leader of the MP and Chef Sina (UBT) Priyanka Chatorphdey questioned the loud release of the AAIB Aircraft Investigation Bureau’s report about the Air India plane that crashed, killing 241 travelers on the plane and more on the ground. I also asked how the report contents shared a foreign post even before their release in India. She said: “Because one cannot be a spectator as a silence of what is happening with regard to the narration about the AI171 crash and its temporary report,” she said.
The way in which the temporary investigation report was dealt with and published was very worrying. “It is extremely disturbing that the sensitive details of the Aab report are available to foreign news agencies and published in outlets such as the Wall Street Journal before any official release in India,” Rajia Sebha, the deputy, wrote in a letter to the Minister of Civil Aviation as Ramhan Naido.
She said: “The incomplete hints that were made against the deceased pilots through the implications of the temporary report, as well as by telling the international media, is absolutely worthy of denunciation,” adding that this is a “evil attempt” to the aunt of pilots who are not alive to present their case.
She also referred to the concerns raised by the Pilot Organization. It is said that the Airlines Airlines Association in India (AlPa-India), which wondered that there is no experimental representation in the investigation committee, is considering taking a legal course to be part of the investigation. “The initial report submitted by AAIB has been put on the site. He has no signature on it. We want transparency. We have requested our representation in the Investigation Committee,” said Sam Thomas, President of Alpa-INDIA.
Chaturvedi asked about the reason for issuing the report during the late hours, with “there is no general briefing, and there are no temporary results signed, and there is no clarity on the process that led to its issuance.” She said that this indicates that there is no transparency and leads to legitimate concerns about “their interests are presented and whether the due legal procedures have been followed.”
The minister urged the start of an official investigation in leaking the contents of the report, making the name of all members of the General Investigation Committee and ensuring that the report has the signing of each member, issuing instructions to the media on how to deal with temporary reports of organizational bodies and investigation, and to include times of experienced in each of the investigations.
