Serious work may not translate and have longer hours to more profits in each profession for a regular work professional in India. In the Reddit Verral post, now entitled “OLA & Uber Dorted Indian Future- He may be prosecuted to talk about this”, the OK-Swim-3767 user has fierce controversy over Gig’s Indian economy and its impact on workers.

The publication, which has gained strength in telling stories and pointed criticism, doubts the glorification of hard work in an increasingly false system.

“I thought hard work solves everything. Even I met a person working 14 hours a day … and I still cannot pay the rent,” the post begins. The author tells a conversation with the OLA driver who, despite the uncompromising working hours, and did not have to leave, to borrow money only to pay his daughter’s school fees.

“It was not lazy. It was not skilled. It was stuck in a system of extraction,” the publication continues, with highlighting the conditions faced by many drivers who recognize the ride riding who should pay the price of their fuel, and take high interest loans disguised as a “financial insert” and work under non -transparent algorithms.

“They entered them? “The real crowd is not in the streets. It is in the halls of management.”

The publication concludes with a broader criticism: “So no – hard work is not always enough. Let’s stop glorifying grinding. Let’s start interrogating the system. Because success is not only about the mentality. It is related to power. Access. Whoever gets rewriting the rules.”

The thread is at a speed full of emotional responses. One of the users calls “hard work to success” a “wrong hope”, on the pretext that success depends more on “to be in the right place at the right time and reach the appropriate resources.”

However, the last narration challenged: “What prevents him from moving to Rabdo? What was the time in the OLA/Uber system? Was there in 2010-2017?

Others have pointed out the complexity of the problem, as one of the users indicates that although the work may be exploitation, it still fills a gap in a country with limited employment options. They wrote: “The party’s economy is the last hope for the masses to earn a living because of the lack of better opportunities. It has not destroyed any future because there was no bright future to start.”

Some questioned the emotional framework completely. One user said: “Do not buy borrowing funds in order to teach the daughter.” “They usually make approximately an average software engineer, but they have other sharks that drown them in washbasin and poverty. Do not blame Ola/Uber or an annoyed economy. Our country was worse without it.”
