At least 25 people were killed and were injured on Sunday because they were on their way to receiving food in Gaza, according to health officials and multiple witnesses who said that the Israeli forces fired crowds one kilometer from an auxiliary site run by an Israeli institution.
Officials at a nearby field hospital run by the Red Cross said that at least 21 people were killed and 175 others were wounded, without saying who opened fire on them.
Officials spoke on the condition that his identity was not disclosed because they were not allowed to speak to reporters. Zahr Al -Wahidi, head of the Records Department of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, confirmed the number of dead and said that two women are among the dead.
The Associated Press correspondent saw dozens of people who were treated in the hospital.
A new aid system marred by chaos
The young Gaza Humanitarian Foundation for aid by chaos, and many witnesses said that the Israeli forces fired crowds near the delivery sites.
The army issued a brief statement saying that “it was not currently aware of the injuries caused by the (Israeli military) fire at the humanitarian aid distribution site. The issue is still under review.”

The Foundation said in a statement that it had distributed 16 truck loads of aid early on Sunday “without an accident”, and rejected what it refused in the name of “wrong reports on deaths, collective injuries and chaos.”
The United Nations World Food Program calls for immediate expansion of food delivery and distribution operations in Gaza to “reassure people who will not starve”. The statement came when the agency reported “hordes from the hungry” that stormed one of its warehouses, and at least two people died and several others were injured.
Witnesses say “Fire from all directions”
Thousands of people went to the distribution site hours before dawn.
Witnesses said that while they were heading towards the site, the Israeli forces ordered them to differentiate and return later.
The witnesses said that when the crowd reached the flag roundabout, about one kilometer, at about 3 in the morning, the Israeli forces opened fire.
Omar Abu Tiba, who was in the crowd, said: “There was a fire from all directions, from marine warships, from tanks and drones.”
He said he saw at least 10 bodies with fiery wounds and many other wounded, including women.
People used vehicles to transport the dead and wounded to the field hospital.
“The scene was terrible,” he said. Ibrahim Abu Soud, another eyewitness, gave an identical account.
He said that the army opened fire from about 300 meters. Abu Soud said that he saw many people suffering from gunshot wounds, including a young man who said he died at the scene.
“We could not help him,” he said.
Muhammad Abu Tima, 33, said that he saw the Israeli forces open fire and kill his cousin and another woman while they were heading towards the distribution site.
He said that his cousin was shot in the chest and died at the scene.
He said that many others were injured, including his son -in -law.
He said, waiting outside the Red Cross Hospital in the Red Cross Square to obtain a word in his relative.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distributed aid funds to the Palestinians in his Rafah today, where the shooting can be heard while people tried to reach the distribution point.
The Israeli, the delivery of US -backed aid under checking
This center is part of a new controversial assistance system, Israel and the United States, it says it aims to prevent Hamas from getting rid of help.
Israel has not provided any evidence of systematic conversion, and the United Nations denies that it had happened.

The military campaign of Israel has killed more than 54,000 people, most of them women and children, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, which does not specify the number of civilians or fighters.
The attack destroyed vast areas of the region, explained about 90 percent of its population and let people depend completely on international aid.
The United States plan for Gaza, which was seen in Reuters on Friday, proposes a 60 -day ceasefire, and the release of 28 Israeli hostages, including some deceased, in the first week in exchange for the release of 1,236 Palestinian prisoners and the remains of 180 Palestinians.
