PhotoNvidia has finally succeeded Pull back the curtain Its next series of graphics cards. If you somehow avoid the mountain of rumors and leaks around Nvidia strong, hugepower-hungry RTX 50-series GPUs, all that and more.

The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series includes all the usual suspects, though we’ll see the more powerful cards first. The top-of-the-line RTX 5070, 5070 Ti, 5080, and 5090 are all here and considered. It’s the first time Nvidia has decided to release a “Titanium” edition card alongside the flagship card, although there’s nothing wrong with having more options on the front.

They are also the most expensive cards the company has ever produced. The RTX 4090 will retail for $1,600. To get rid of this problem, the company also announced that the price of the RTX 5070 will reach $550. The RTX 5070 Ti will cost $750 and the 5080 will cost $1,000.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang walked out onto the Michelob Ultra Arena stage at Mandalay Bay Casino and first asked the audience, “Do you like my jacket?” He has a reason to act like a celebrity. The company’s AI training chips have made them some of the most profitable in the world. Artificial Intelligence was the main theme behind the entire presentation. This has been one of the big reasons why the specs of the new RTX video cards look so weird.

He also claimed that people using the RTX 5070, even on a laptop, can expect performance equivalent to the RTX 4090. He said a big part of that is due to the company’s Tensor cores and the AI that powers the card’s performance. .

“GeForce brought AI to the masses,” he said. “Now we’re bringing AI to GeForce.”

High-end Blackwell cards will have 380 RT TFLOPS and 125 Shader TFLOPS as well as a memory bandwidth of 1.8 TB/s. We’ll have more information on the exact numbers of CUDA cores and VRAM soon, but it’s safe to say that the RTX 5090 is a 50% larger card than Nvidia’s previous mega-GPU, the RTX 4090.

Add to all this a new AI software suite in DLSS 4. This now includes updated ray reconstruction and ultra-resolution models powered by AI model transformers.

You’d have to have a big bag and big pockets to even consider sticking the RTX 5090 in your bag. Meanwhile, the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 offer more power than their counterparts from two years ago.

The new Blackwell cards should arrive within the next few weeks. What didn’t get any air was any mention of more budget end cards. We’ll need to wait a few months for the RTX 5050, 5060, and 5060 Ti to appear.
