Nuno Espereto Santo hopes to hold clear talks with Eviangalus Marinakis, the owner of Nutingham Forest and sports director Edo after a turbulent start of the season, which prompted speculation that it can be excluded.

The forest won a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace this afternoonTwo days after the reports indicating that the future of Nuno in the city was at his threat after he asked about the club’s ambition in the transportation market.

Forest fans sang Nuno’s name in Celest Park and the Portuguese were fasting to refuse to ask if a road engineer was trying to leave the club.

Nuno – I love what I do

After the match, he spoke at SELHURST Park, he said: “Absolute nonsense. This is a fucking narration. I love what I do. At the moment I do not enjoy, it ended.

“This is what football is. There are things that I cannot control. What comes out, dismissal (rumors), I cannot control.

“What I said – and I thought about it for a long time – is my concern for the team. Last season, these boys achieved a great thing. If we don’t help them as a club, in terms of numbers, quality and talent, everything will happen.

“What is before us is the Premier League, the European League, the Carabau Cup and the FA Cup. You know the number of games that it means to us? This is the respect that we must show to our team and help them.”

Nuno wants conversations

Nuno, former Wolves president, hopes to be able to sit with Marinakis and EDU this week in an attempt to move forward together.

He added: “We will hold them (talks). We must, we must.

“I think we need to hold these talks, and we will get them. This is what I think is more important than anything else. The players need it, the team needs it, the club needs it, and we need it. We will get it.

“Everyone wants the best for the forest – me first. Every club wants the best for forests.

“This is the first time in my career that I face this position and I ask these things. It is not useful, but I think the conflict does not succeed. We have to create harmony.”

The wonderful Callum Hudson-Deodii and finished saved a forest point after setting the goal of the ISMILA SARR host in the forefront.
