Nottingham Forest has completed the signing of Rin Kalimundo striker Rin Kalimundo on a five -year contract for 26 million pounds.
The 23 -year -old French player arrives after a prolific production season in the first division, where he scored 18 goals in 34 games with Rin’s twelfth rank.
A former striker in Paris Saint -Germain, Calmyndo scored 40 times in 112 games for the French club since joining in 2022 and was part of the Olympic team in France, which won silver in Paris last year.
Kalimuendo has become the last high -level access to Forest in a summer of heavy spending. The club had already invested more than 114 million pounds on six players, including the Amari Hachinson, from the city of Epswich for 37.5 million pounds, and midfielder James Makati from Manchester City in a deal worth 30 million pounds.
Nuno Espereto Santo questioned the transportation strategy in Forrest last week, and warned that his team was not fully equipped for European football demands, but the club has since moved to strengthen it.
Forest will compete in the European League this season after the reduction of the Crystal Palace association reduction to the Conference League.
Kalimundo will provide competition with Chris Wood alongside Brazilian striker Igor Jesus, who arrived from Potafogo in July for 10 million pounds.
Speaking to the club’s website, Kalimuendo said: “When I heard about interest from Forest, I was honored. I was honored here with a good experience but I want more and I want to reach a new level. I can’t wait to play in the Premier League and on the city’s ground – fans create a beautiful atmosphere.”
Forest opened his campaign in the Premier League by beating 3-1 over Brentford on the city’s land on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the club, Anthony Elanga, sold to Newcastle for 55 million pounds earlier this summer, but he got a boost when Morgan Gibs White signed a new contract despite the interest from Tottenham.
