North Korea has detained three ship building officials due to an accident during the launch of a new warship on Wednesday, government media reported.

Parts of the destroyer bottom were crushed 5,000 tons during the launch ceremony, which led to the elimination of balance.

The investigation of the incident, which North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, described as “criminal action”, is continuing.

KCNA, North Korea’s official news agency, has identified detainees as the chief engineer in the Northern Shop Building Basin, where the destroyer was built, as well as the head of construction and administrative director.

The report said that the three were “responsible for the accident.”

On Friday, KCNA said that the director of the shipbuilding basin, Hong Keel, was called by the perpetrators.

The satellite pictures showed the ship that was lying on its side, covered with a fabric fabric, which we did not live, and it appears to be part of the ship on the floor.

North Korea’s government media did not mention any injuries or injuries at the time, which reduced the damage.

KCNA stated that there are no holes at the bottom of the ship – unlike initial reports.

The agency said: “The meal was scratched and a certain amount of sea water flowed in the rear department,” the agency said.

Kim said on Thursday that the incident was caused by “absolute neglect, ineffective and non -scientific responsibility.”

He added that those who committed “irresponsible mistakes” will be dealt with in a general meeting next month.

It is not clear what the punishment they might face, but the authoritarian state has a sad human rights record.

North Korea publicly will publicly reveal local accidents – although it has done so in a few times in the past.

This particular incident comes weeks after North Korea revealed a similar destruction of 5,000 tons, The Choe Hyon.

Kim had launched this “breach” of the naval update in North Korea and said it would be deployed early next year.
