Nobel Prize 2025 ads start on October 6: How will the winners be determined?

The Nobel Prize, which is the most prestigious recognition in the world in science, literature, peace and economics, will start in its 2025 announcement course on October 6. Every year, the Nobel committees reveal their choices to work as a “greater benefit for humanity”.

What is the Nobel Prize?

Prizes were created under the will of Alfred Nobel, the Swedish chemist and the inventor of Dynamite, who repeated his wealth in 1895 to achieve human progress. The first prizes were presented in 1901.

The holders receive a gold, diploma and prize for about 11 million Swedish kronor – more than 10 rupees.

How the winners are chosen

Thousands of candidates, including university professors, scholars, and former vitality in Nobel, members of academies, parliamentary gatherings, did the candidates every year. The Nobel committees for institutions grant these nominations and make the winners decision. Candidates are carefully chosen to ensure wide representation across countries and universities over time.

The process is very secret and is done in stages. The short lists are discussed for months, and final decisions are reached in a strict secrecy. More than three members of the Nobel Prize participation can only be in the peace category, which may also be awarded to organizations.
