Nissan is participating in the integration report with Honda, spinning south

Japanese auto maker Nissan is back away from the merger talks with the competing Honda. I was able to integrate that it deserves More than 50 billion dollars.

Nissan said in a statement that it had not officially announced anything, but the two companies “in the stage of providing various discussions, including the contents of the report.”

“We plan to create a trend and issue an advertisement around mid -February.”

Nissan’s shares fell by 4.8 % on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Wednesday before TSA was traded, saying that media reports on the cancellation of integration must be verified.

Honda shares closed 8.2 % higher, after nearly 12 % rose at one point.

Honda CEO insisted at that time, it was not a rescue plan for Nissan, which last year announced thousands of cuts in jobs after reporting 93 % in net profit in the first half.

Work was difficult for foreign brands in China, as electric cars manufacturers such as BYD drive the road with the growth of the lowest polluted cars.

According to Renault, it was asked to sell its 35 percent stake in April – a hunt that was suspended before the announcement of the merger talks.

Nissan survived a troubled contract, including the arrest of former director Carlos Ghosen for the year 2018, who later jumped on bail and fled from Japan hidden in the music equipment box.

The company is also burdened by billions of debts that will mature over the next two years.
