Newcastle United is preparing to reveal his first signature on the summer transfer window, with Antonio Cordeo, the 18 -year -old Spanish wing, to join Magpies next month, according to IPaper.

The promising young man is considered one of Spain’s increasing talents, and Newcastle has succeeded in overcoming the intense competition from European giants Real Madrid and Barcelona to secure his signature.

Cordero, who was born in Geerez, southern Spain, began his football journey with local clubs including Cadiz, Sevilla and Real Betis before landing in Malaga in 2021.

He saw his time in Malaga threatening, especially inside the “B team”, where he made a name for himself in the fifth -class, where he scored 12 impressive goals in only 17 games.

The scouts saw him from some of the major European clubs playing and admiring the young man.

Cordero’s Cordro shows earned him a phone call to the first Malaga team, as it first appeared in 2023.

Newcastle first began calling Cordero again in January, and exploring the possibility of a pre -contract agreement. The talks advanced smoothly, and even the young wing, with his family, visited Tenniside earlier this year.

Cordro is expected to complete the final stages of its transfer in June. However, it is understood that it will not join the first team Eddie Hau team in the first team. Instead, Newcastle plans to send it on loan for more experience in the first team.
