I have always achieved the excitement in South Korea on Netflix. I mean, do not look further than the continuous popularity “Houfa Game”, the successful global feeling that now gets Hollywood adaptation treatment. Not every South Korean show can achieve the levels “Bogotá: City of the Lost,” which topped Netflix plans in February. Now, there is a completely new serial killer show that makes fixed waves on the broadcasting platform: “Mantis queen” for the BYUN-JOO, which mixes the Standard Crime Exclusive Film in a slow-police coordination.

It should be noted that “Queen Mantis” is based on last The Netflix series, which is the French excitement “Le Mante”, where the series “Mantis” becomes a subject of chilling puzzle (full of complex family shock). While “La Mante” implement some useful ideas, it also represents a problem in his treatment of sexual identity, which negatively affects some of the conspiracies that he cooks throughout the series. As “Queen Mantis” episodes continue, one can only hope that this adaptation will eventually take a more accurate approach to the topic.

So, what is going on around “Queen Mantis”? Police investigator Chau Yol (Jang Dong Yun) wants to escape from the past, but the truth about his mother’s identity is back to chase him. His mother, Jung Yi-Shin (Go Hyun-Jung), is the notorious Mantis, which currently spends time for five horrific crimes. The troubles begin to ferment as soon as the murderer imitates the Mantis’ Opendi method, forcing SOO-Yeol to contact his mother to arrest the perpetrator. The consequences of this is the game of the cat, the stretching cat and anxiety, which makes the “Queen Mantis” a view of crime excitement lovers.

Spoilers For “Queen Mantis” follow.

The authorities who avoid a serial killer experience to arrest another serial killer is not a new concept in this type of excitement. Fritz Lang’s German MyS speilller “M” greatly pulls thisAs criminal organizations gather together to pick up a fitch killer after the police failed to do so. There is also “Silence of Lamies” for Jonathan Deem, where the rising policeman Clares Starling (Judy Foster) is forced to play a crooked game of Quid Pro Quo with Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) to search for a killer before he is late. “Queen Mantis” adds interesting layers to this cup by establishing a family relationship between the negotiating parties, and clarifying the weaknesses of SOO-Yeol on his mother’s proximity.

SOO-Yeol’s attempts to track counterfeit copies inevitably lead to a confrontation with the past, as he needs to search deeply in his own shock to be able to understand the copy mentality. This also means allowing his famous mother to reach his deepest feelings, which includes both deep resentment and pent -up of the mother affection. There are also layers of Yi-Shin motives, as they were targeting only male predators during the killing of them, which hints that there is more than her dilemma more than the eye sees. However, this does not mean that Yi-Shin is unable to manipulate-in reality, its comfortable presence in her in prison is proven intelligently negotiated over the years.

As you have already guessed, the dark “Queen Manteis” sporting, which is walking alongside insulting this type (besides the psychological chaos that promises to connect her). However, the coordination of the eight episodes of the crime rings may result in fun and fast -hand if the current momentum is embodied and continued.

“Queen Mantis” is currently flowing on Netflix.
