Lightning through the preliminary final
LongBorough Lightning Manchester Thunder will face the preliminary final after they were defeated by London Maverricks 79-49 in the lower semi-finals of Belle Vue.
Thunder opened 20 goals in the first half and pulled it thanks to the wonderful compound gameplay from Paige Reed and Lois Pearson.
“I really felt well,” Person said. “We knew it would be a difficult game, after last week we knew that they would return to the fighting, but we were happy that we won.
“I am very happy personally, I just returned two games, which means I get another game.
“I feel good. I got a lot of support from both thunder and England and we are building slowly, but it is good to go there.”
