Netanyahu is defending Gaza’s plans, as Israel strongly criticized the United Nations Security Council

The United Nations ambassadors condemned Israel’s “control” plans for Gaza City, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that “the best way” to end the war.

During a press conference, Netanyahu said he aims to “hole lies”, the Israeli leader said that the planned attack would move “somewhat quickly” and will frees “Gaza from Hamas.”

The Israeli hostages detained in Gaza also claimed that they were “the only ones who were deliberately starved” and deprived Israel Jizan.

Meanwhile, Israel has been criticized at an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council, with the UK, France and other plan to “violate international humanitarian law.”

Along with Denmark, Greece and Slovenia, they called for the opposite of the plan, adding that “it will not do anything to secure the return of the hostages and the dangers of their lives.”

Other members of the Council expressed a similar warning. China has described that the “collective punishment” of people in Gaza is unacceptable, while Russia has warned against “intensifying reckless fighting.”

“If these plans are implemented, it is likely that they lead to another disaster in Gaza, hesitating throughout the region and causing further forced displacement, killing and destruction,” United Nations Secretary -General Miroslav Jenca told the meeting.

Ramish Rajingham of the United Nations Humanitarian Office said that the hunger crisis in Gaza is no longer looming on the horizon, adding that “this is famine, pure and simple.”

But the United States defended Israel, as Ambassador Dorothy Xia told the meeting that the United States was working tirelessly to liberate the hostages and end the war, and the meeting undermined these efforts.

She added that the war “could end today if Hamas allows the hostages”, and accused other members of benefiting from the meeting “accusing Israel’s genocide”, a claim that it insisted on “clearly false.”

Later on Sunday, Netanyahu’s office said he had spoken to US President Donald Trump about Israel’s plans.

He also transferred thousands of demonstrators to the streets throughout Israel To oppose the government’s plan, for fear that the hostage’s life will endanger.

In his pressure, Netanyahu said that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had been instructed to dismantle two “remaining Hamas strongholds” in Gaza City and a central area around Maousy.

It also defined a three -step plan to increase aid in Gaza, including appointing safe corridors to distribute humanitarian aid and more air drops by Israeli forces and other partners.

It will also include the increase in the number of safe distribution points managed by the controversial and supportive Ghazan Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

The United Nations said earlier this month that 1373 Palestinians have been killed for food since late May, when GHF created aid distribution sites.

Netanyahu claimed that Hamas “looted violently aid trucks”, and when asked about the Palestinians who were killed on GHF sites, he said, “A lot of fire by Hamas.”

When asked about the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza – 20 of them still believed – Netanyahu said, “If we do nothing, we will not get them out.”

The Israeli leader also took the goal of the international press, saying that she bought Hamas propaganda. Some pictures of children with malnutrition in Gaza and run on the front pages of newspapers all over the world as “fake”.

Throughout the war, Israel did not allow international journalists to enter Gaza freely. But Netanyahu said that a guidance told the army to bring foreign journalists in place for two days.

He also said that in total, more than 61,000 people were killed as a result of the military campaign of Israel since 2023.

Israel launched its attack in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7 of that year, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken into account.

In the past, the figures received from the Hamas Ministry of Health were widely used in the conflict times and considered it reliable by the United Nations and other international organizations.
