Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel arms the tribes in Gaza, which he says is opposing Hamas.

His comments came after Israeli media reports quoted defense sources, saying that Netanyahu had allowed weapons to be given a specific group in southern Gaza.

Many Israeli politicians have accused Netanyahu of threatening Israeli security.

“What is wrong with this?” Netanyahu says in a short video clip he is tweet. “He only saves the lives of Israeli soldiers,” and continues – “and spreading it only helps Hamas.”

What the Israeli Prime Minister refers to is reports that Israel, according to his license, was providing weapons to a clan in Gaza, led by a man named Yasser Abu Shabab.

The group, which some see as a militia or a criminal gang, presented as an opposition force to Hamas.

She says her goal is to protect trucks that bring aid to Gaza, but critics say they do the opposite and plunder them.

Benjamin Netanyahu may have been unloaded, but they have the ability to develop into a serious new political scandal.

Israeli defense sources had previously confirmed to local journalists that the accusations made by opposition politician Avigdor Lieberman were correct.

Lieberman, who heads the Yisrael Beiteinu party, the public broadcaster, Kan, told Netanyahu unilaterally to transfer weapons to the Abu Shabab clan.

“The Israeli government gives weapons to a group of criminals and criminals, which have been identified with the Islamic State group,” Lieberman said.

He added, “As a science, this did not pass with the approval of the Council of Ministers.”

Defense sources later confirmed that Israel was arming the Abu Shabab clan with Kalashnikov rifles, including some of them seized from Hamas.

The clan works in Rafah, in an area under the control of the Israeli military.

However, Yasser Abu Shabab posted on the Internet “for a categorical rejection” that Israel had provided the weapons of his group.

“Our weapons are simple, outdated and supported our people,” he said.

Hamas sources said that Abu Shabab’s activities became an issue – with one report in an Arab newspaper saying that the armed wing Hamas has begun to implement the assassinations of the clan members.

Netanyahu’s office said that Israel “was working to defeat Hamas through various means, based on the recommendations of all the heads of the security establishment.”

A strong criticism of the initiative came from Yair Golan, the leader of Democrats in the Knesset.

In a post on social media on X, he said: “Netanyahu represents a threat to the national security of Israel. Instead of concluding a deal … returning the hostages to the house and providing security to Israeli citizens, he creates a new time bomb in Gaza.”
