Zurich (Reuters) said that Eastal on Wednesday will suggest that the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Pablo Isla will be its next chairman, as the Swiss food giant announced that the current and veteran president of the company Paul Bolki will be served in April 2026.

ISLA, a Spanish, CEO of Zara, Inditex from 2005 to 2011, Chairman and CEO of Inditex from 2011 to 2022, Nestle Board of Directors in 2018.

Bolki, a 70 -year -old Belgian and a Swiss citizen who has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors since April 2017, joined in 1979 and worked as CEO of the company from 2008 to 2016.

ISLA is separated from the recent Nestle traditions of the position of former chief executives in the president’s seat. Bolki’s ancestor was as president, Peter Brabak, former CEO. Likewise, the former Chairman of the Board of Directors, Helmut Macher.

Polky’s departure will complete the classification of the higher jobs in Nestlé after Mark Schneider was diluted as an executive president last summer after a dull performance by the company.

Schneider has made the way to the veteran in the company, Laurent Frex, whose work period at the top of this year saw the price of Nestle’s share, some of the reasons that it lost in 2024.

In a statement, ILA thanked the Council for his candidacy and said he was looking to work with Freixe.

He said: “I am excited to take on this new role, as I fully learn about the Nestle Nutrition, Health, Wellness strategy and the common value approach to business.”
