Narwal Freo Z Ultra is the first Android and MOP link with dual RGB cameras, which means that there is a pair of eyes that see the color, as we do. It is also characterized by artificial intelligence chips to improve decisions and recognize organisms, so you should better define sites that need to clean and improve the avoidance of objects. It is emptying, a scanner, and lives in the dock that suffers from the robot and cleans the scanners. All this seems promising, and he does some things well … I hope it is better in the actual cleaning part.

Narwal Freo Z Ultra

Freo Z Ultra vision and identifying creatures shows a lot of promise, but the vacuum still chooses irreplaceable and ineffective methods, and not quite clean as you like.

Positives

  • Learn about and avoid excellent things
  • Good appearance and calm
  • Learn more cleaning to do

cons

  • It seems that he does not have enough suction power to dirt on bare floors
  • Do not clean close to the edges as you want
  • He chooses strangely ineffective ways

Let’s start with the basics. At a glance, Freo Z Ultra is like any other advanced robot vacuum. It is a round robot about 14 inches away with a length of about 4.5 inches. UP Top is a Lidar Tower (contrary to what you see on a self -driving car), which helps to wipe the room and identify objects. In the foreground are the double RGB cameras mentioned above. Under it, towards the introduction, you have two sweeping arms of Spindly help to direct the debris under the robot; In the middle there is a vacuum entrance with a cylinder brush, and toward the back, there are wiped pads. You can also attach the added “plate cleaner”, which is gentle that you stick to the robot side so that you can wipe the low vertical surfaces.

The main station width is about 17 inches, 15 inches depth, and 18 inches long. It takes 2.5 -liter bags that Narwal claims up to 120 days before swap, depending on the dirty extent of your place. It contains two large and removable tanks (one for clean water and the other for dirty water) is easy to empty or re -fill. It also contains a separate cube where you can install the detergent cartridge. On the upper cover there is a small touch plate with some basic orders that you may never use because applications and vocal orders (via Google/Siri/Alexa) are more convenient. The robot and the base look elegant and modern. The base can also clean robots with temperatures up to 167 degrees Fahrenheit, which must be sufficient to kill most bacteria, then the scanner air dries as well.

The preparation is very easy. You can pull everything from the box, connect MPS, connect the base, fill the fresh water tank, push the robot to its base to charge it, then associate everything to the application. After sorting through some communication problems and fixed program updates, press the button to wipe my apartment, and it was done quickly and efficiently, and I drew the entire floor plan in about 7 minutes. The map I created, though, needed some works. I have set a bed and sofa correctly, but it divided my full apartment (one bedroom) into two big rooms. Fortunately, it was clear enough to edit it in the application. I created breaks for the bedroom, bathroom, corridor, living room, dining room, kitchen, and entrance. In this way, if only one room is needed, I can tell her to clean this specific room.

Cleaning, however, can use some work. The default profile is to clean the entire apartment, discharge and disinfection as you see suitable, so I thought I would start there. I hit the button on my application, and the main station announced that it made electric water, which … I think you clean better than normal water? theoretically? maybe? She glows and seemed cold, anyway. Once all of the class is saturated, the robot left the dock and went directly to the corner of the carpet of a sleeping room. Then she turned a little without disinfection or vacuum. He has been around him in a corner beside my bed. In the end, the blanks started and made some strange winding style that had no great meaning for me. The stain returned and the stain again later, apparently for no reason.

He also cleared one section of the ground near the bathroom, then returned and emptied it, which is the opposite arrangement that he should do. Then he installed it again. Then empty it again, then skip it again. Consider, there was no dirt or debris that can be distinguished in this spot. It has become obsessed with it, and it minds you, this is still before it goes to my kitchen or clean the living room or anywhere else. The pattern he chose to clean my apartment seemed almost ineffective.

I will say that she has done somewhat decent work in cleaning areas as soon as she reached it. I picked up a lot of hair and dirt from my bare ground, and she did a very good job in getting sand from my medium carpet as well. It was nice and calm, too, I appreciate it. MPS did a fast and fast work to clean some of the milk poured on the kitchen floor. But when a notorious snack glove (made of golden crackers, pistachio shells, some bar, some Tic-tacs, and some dry oregano leaves), did it so well. He tended to strangle pistachio shells and cancel them elsewhere. Sometimes, the broken fish may hunt, but at other times, it will destroy them and spread debris around the ground. I found almost some golden fish on the other side of my apartment from where they left them. He has done well with Tic-Tacs but he had faced difficult time with Oregano, especially on solid wood floor. There was a lot on the ground after I thought it was.

For comparison, I tested this against Roborock Qrevo Curv. Roborock formed a more efficient cleaning pattern and it appears to be more powerful. She has succeeded in rapid work for light meal, and she lost only one gold fish, but Oregano and everything else has disappeared. I also found that MPS Roborock is closer to the edges of Narwal. One of the Roborock scannings extends out to clean it under a small over blatice. On the other hand, Narwal must access the wall directly and wipe 90 degrees small to get a wiper towards the edge. This does not make it too slower (it will be slower as well, if you have to stop and confuse every few seconds), but there were spots where Narwal left three -inch gaps between the wall and the place of cleaning it. Not great.

The only place where fire surpasses Roborok to avoid things. It seems that he put his microscopic vision for his use and did a much better job to avoid the risks that I have developed for that, such as individual slippers or socks, which Roboroc was vulnerable to absorbing and wandering. Narwal can use artificial intelligence to determine and avoid charging cables when facing them on the bare floor, which was more than Roborock managed. However, two ropes absorbed shipping when they faced it on carved carpets. I think the camera needs more contrast (which is provided by the bare floor). She also did a good job in the maze of the legs from the table and chair in my dining room. It wasn’t quickly, but he always made his way inside and out.

One strange thing is that this robot returns to its sidewalk to clean a large mop. It seems that it goes and wipes a section of my floor (maybe 3 feet and 5 feet) and then return to clean the MP before returning to the same area. This cleaning does not take much longer, but it passes very quickly. In the middle of the road by cleaning my apartment for the second time, he warned me that the base was outside the fresh water. Certainly, it was dry, and the dirty water tank was full. But my apartment was very clean, and only 161 square feet of carpet wood was covered with carpets. I was able to see that the water was not very dirty. I thought this thing was supposed to be able to go for four months without maintenance, but when I looked at micro print, he only mentioned that there was no need to change the vacuum bag. Again, Roborock was more efficient, allowing me to pass several cleaning operations before dealing with water.

I liked that AI Robot can recognize when there is still a dirty spot and need more cleaning, and he will generally return and deal with it, but in the end, when it was done, it was never clean like leaving Roborock. Its application also does not give you a lot of granular control, and makes the plate cleaner, while smart, is difficult to return to the dock. Sometimes, it may take five attempts before you can establish himself, and as you mentioned, he tries to do himself constantly. All this adds up to a slower robot, looking at it.

Narwal Freo Z Ultra Review: Judgment

In the end, there is a lot you like here. It does a good job for cleaning, and because avoiding the objects is very good, it may be a better choice if you have an accidental pet. Unfortunately, you have just tested Roborock Qrevo Curv, and don’t clean the Freo Z Ultra from Narwal, as it costs almost the same (Narwal is $ 1500, while Roborock is $ 1600). During the test, I often wish the best in the worlds. It would be unreasonable to put the Freo Z vision and recognize obstacles on the efficiency and strength of the QREVO curve. Currently, I am sticking to Roborock.
