Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Harvey Elliott answered the questions asked of them about their future, and provided interesting answers.
Following the Reds’ 2-1 win over Lille in the Champions League, both men were quizzed by journalists about their futures.
Elliott has been linked with a move away in the summerwith Newcastle previously linked. When asked if he could see himself leaving, the young man answered crossly TNT Sports: “It’s very clear… I’m not leaving. ‘This is my team, this is my club!’
Meanwhile, Salah, whose contract expires in June and Related to moving to Saudi ArabiaHe was a little shyer than his teammate. After his 50th European goal for the Merseyside club, he was asked if he could score another 50 goals. He replied: “I’m not sure about that but I’ll do my best.”
He also said: “I hope I’m not the last. I didn’t focus on the record before the game. It’s something I’m very happy and proud of, especially because we won the game, which is the most important thing.
“Lille had a really good game plan, they were unbeaten in 21 games and they were a tough team. They showed that in the first and second half, so I’ll give them credit, but I’m happy we were able to win.”
