Mitsubishi in talks of the new EVS source for Australia, New Zealand from the Foxconn Unit

Mitsubishi Motors holds conversations with the Taiwan -based electric car department of the Taiwan -based electric car model. The Japanese auto manufacturer plans for sale in Australia and New Zealand in the last half of 2026.

Mitsubishi said on Wednesday that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with FOXTRON technology to develop EV, and will hold more discussions to reach an agreement. Foxtron is a joint venture between the Taiwan -based Yoxconn, which gathers and makes cars for Nissan.

Mitsubishi and Nissan also click Three -direction alliance with Renault To increase the EV collection in North America. Mitsubishi said it will start selling a flawed version of the Nissan Lev Electric car in the second half of the 2026 in North America, while Nissan will sell a model of hybrid electric compounds that have been renovated by Mitsubishi, in North America also next year.

Mitsubishi said it would also sell EV models that were renamed by Renault in Europe.
