The Ferrari team, which was transferred to Victory, was sold by Formula One Michael Schumacher in the Monaco Grand Prix for 2001 for 15.98 million euros (13.43 million pounds) at a public auction.
He also ran in F2001 to win the Grand Prix of the Hungarian Prize and gained the fourth of his seven international titles in that year.
The car was sold by the RM Sotheby’s before qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix for this year and became the most expensive German car driven by German, 56 years old, which is sold at a public auction.
It was also the fourth most expensive F1 that was ever sold – the world record was registered in February when the Mercedes ‘Streamliner’ raced by Sir Sterling Moss and Juan Manuel Vangio for 42.75 million pounds.
Previously, the most driven by the CCOMACHER car was the offer of 9.75 million pounds for F2003 in 2002.
Ferrari hopes to simulate the 2001 Schumacher’s success in Monte Carlo with Charles Licerk II, behind McLaren Lando Norris, on the network for Sunday race.
