Miami GP: Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton give an amazing judgment on the Ferrari pace after the disappointment of hope

Charles Licerkk admitted that he was “bad” after the annoying “disturbing” of Ferrari to the pace of leaving him and teammate Luis Hamilton from competing for the enemy column in the major prize race in Miami.

Leclerc ranked sixth in Miami International Autodrome, where he finished more than three tenths from a second off the Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes, as the Italian teenager Oscar PiaSSTRI and Lando Norris amazed to demand the F1 pole.

Leclerc seems to make progress in recent weeks as he embraced the fourth consecutive place with the first Ferrari platform in this season in the Saudi Grand Prix two weeks ago, but Monegasque was disappointed after Friday.

In response to a question about what he felt about the enemy’s rehabilitation, he replied to Bickelck: “Bad. The roll was good, but the pace is not there at the moment, so it is a bit disturbing but it is the way it is now.

“I will do my best tomorrow to try to do something special at the beginning, but frankly, there is no big way to improve today. It was just the pace of the car.

“It is really every corner, so it’s not as if we are especially weak in one type of corner. Yes, the slow speed seems more than our weakness, but it changes from one weekend to another, so it is not great.”

Hamilton: We only lack speed

Hamilton has a very difficult start for his first campaign with Ferrari after moving to the Italian team after 12 years in Mercedes.

The only bright moment came in the first world champion rounds in this season when the pole took and won the opening year in China, but that moment began to look like a false dawn.

There was hope that Hamilton would surpass the enemy’s shape again in Miami, but the British was far from the Leclerc pace, with more than their tin.

“It was a better session. P1 might have been a little better, the car was a little better, and the car was a little more beautiful. We lack speed, but we continue to work from there,” Hamilton said.

The 40 -year -old does not seem to be confident that Ferrari can bridge the gap on the first place during the remainder of the weekend.

When asked if he could make progress in the enemy. “Not really. I think all the upcoming cars are faster. I don’t know what to say,” Hamilton replied.

As for the improvements after the enemy moved to Grand Prix later on Saturday, Hamilton added:

“There are always ideas. Whether or not on right or not … there is definitely learning to be taken – the settings changes, and how the car has acted, there is definitely a work to receive the speed to the rest of the weekend.”
