MI6 launches the dark web gate to attract spies in Russia

MI6 launches a dedicated internet portal in the hope of attracting new spies online, especially from Russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the safe message platform aims to enhance national security by facilitating the recruitment of the Intelligence Agency.

He adds that potential agents in Russia and around the world will target the United Kingdom.

The launch follows a similar approach by the CIA, which published videos on social media channels to target potential Russian spies in 2023.

The Central Intelligence Agency has previously suffered a catastrophic loss of its agents in China after its links were hacked with the dark network by the Ministry of State Security in Beijing.
