Mexico excludes Trump’s reported military plan against drug gangs

Mexico said that the US military will not enter its lands after reports that President Donald Trump had directed the Pentagon to target drug gangs in Latin America.

“The United States will not come to Mexico with the army,” President Claudia Shinbom said on Friday. “We are cooperating, we are cooperating, but there will be no invasion. It has been excluded, it was completely excluded.”

The New York Times reported on Friday that Trump has secretly signed a directive to start using military force on foreign lands.
