Two British men who fell on the gap tree were sentenced to the beloved Sikammour, who stood nearly 150 years in prison for four years and three months in prison, minus time.

Graham, 39, and Karshors, 32, were sentenced to two criminal damages – one to destroy the tree, and the other to destroy the old wall. Each one was in reservation for several months.

On September 28, 2023, the illegal pieces in the National Park of Nurutberland caused immediate anger. It was not the largest or oldest tree in Britain, but it was dedicated to its picturesque atmosphere, identically planted between two hills along the wall and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Judge Christina Lambert said on Tuesday at the Crown Newcastle Court for Newcastle, I was found equally. Graham photographed the verb, while Carrozrez was practicing with a saw.

The tree has long been known to the local residents, but it became famous after a veil in the movie Kevin Costner 1991 Robin Hood: Prince of thieves. He drew tourists, lovers, landscape photographers, and even those who spread the ashes of their loved ones.

Graham Range Rover was near the tree as it fell. A likable video of the cut was found on his phone – with the initial data showing that it was filmed on the tree site.

“Control” in media coverage

The digital data also showed Graham’s car on its way to where the two lived about 40 minutes away, Carrozrez got a text from his girlfriend with clips of their 12 -day son.

“I have a better video of it,” Carrozers answered.

The jury did not hear evidence of the existence of a motive for the crime, but the public prosecutor Richard Wright suggested in his final argument that the two were on a “reckless mission” and cut the tree as a joke.

“They woke up the next morning and … they should have emerged on them that they were unable to see anyone else smiling,” Wright said.
