The founder of Australian fashion brand Posse has praised Meghan Markle for significantly boosting its sales, highlighting the Duchess’s strong influence on consumer trends.
In an interview with City and countrysidePosse owner Daniela Mulham expressed her gratitude for Meghan’s continued support, noting the remarkable impact her endorsement has had.
“We are so grateful for the continued support she continues to show for our brand and we love seeing her wearing Posse,” Mulham said. Daily Mail.
This increase in popularity is not unique to the Posse, as Meghan’s fashion choices have led to a spike in sales for several brands.

A notable moment occurred in 2017 when Scottish brand Strathberry saw one of its handbags sell out in just 11 minutes after Meghan carried it during an appearance with Prince Harry.
Additionally, Strathberry reportedly expanded its workforce due to a spike in sales after Meghan wore its products, demonstrating the financial strength behind its endorsements.

The Duchess has caused a $1.2 million surge in sales of lab-grown diamond brand Kimaï.

London-based lab-grown diamond company Kimaï is another company that has benefited greatly from the “Meghan effect.”
In 2019, Meghan was spotted wearing $767 Felicity earrings that she bought herself.
According to Daily MailCo-founders Jessica Warsh and Sydney Newhouse revealed that the Duchess’s appearance led to increased sales, generating $1.2 million.
Warsh shared that Kimaï launched without outside funding, but after just two months, Megan’s support significantly boosted its revenue, enabling it to raise $1.2 million.
The brand, known for using lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold, eventually secured a record £250,000 investment from Dragon’s Den star Stephen Bartlett for a 3% equity stake, his biggest deal to date.

As of January, Kimaï is expected to make a profit of $608,000 (£500,000) in 2024 after four years of operating at a loss.

However, the only publicly confirmed investments are in Cesta Collective and Clever Blends, a vegan latte powder brand available in the UK for £23 per 14-serving bag.
While the Duchess did not reveal the exact amount she invested, Cesta’s founders confirmed that her contribution was a minority stake.

Meghan has reportedly begun building her investment portfolio during the pandemic. In December 2020, the Duchess announced her investment in Clevr Blends, a healthy coffee brand known for its organic, gluten-free “SuperLattes” powder.
