McLaren may have to make an early option to support Oscar Bayastiri or Lando Norris in the title of the F1 title for this year, according to Sky SPORTS F1Martin Brundel.
Pasri Norris is 16 points behind the Grand Prix in Emilia Romania this week, and left McLaren at the weekend in the McLaren race in terms of registration Max Versaben 32 points from the tournament’s progress.
Miami was the most weekend in McLaren, with more than half a minute from George Russell, third place, 38 points of PiaSSTri after six rounds.
“The problem that McLaren will face is whether Max Versaben and George Russell continue to pump the results,” Brundel said. ” F1 offer.
“If they are there, there is no doubt that PiaSSTRI and Norris will lead points from each other. So they must be keen that they do not focus on each other so that someone else comes and wins the championship, as Alain Prost did in 1986.”
Verstapen should not worry about his Red Bull Yuki Tsunoda teammate, and has greatly strengthened his points to remain a realistic threat in the tournament.
Red Bull and Mercedes will rely on promotions across the next triple and change the organization in the Spanish Grand Prix race at the end of this month to fall on the flexible wings, which may bring them closer to McLaren.
“The problem that McLaren faced is, if she waited for someone to come out of the World Championship, it will be in October, November, in this tournament.
“Therefore, McLaren may have to make a decision before that to choose. It depends on how to develop it, but they will not think about it until the summer vacation, at least.”
Is Versappen Race PiaSSTri differently for Nores?
Miami also showed the first dangerous wheel action on several rolls between Verstapen and McLaren drivers.
While PiaSSTRI outperformed Verstapen in the rain in Melbourne, as he got a good in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in both cases, drivers did not show their combat skills in races.
NORRIS discovered the aggressive side of Verstapen last year and the latter in general took over in the foreground, and Norris was deprived of the opportunity to victory in Austria, the United States of America and Mexico City.
In response to a question about whether he believed that Verstapen precedes McLaren drivers in a different way, Brundel said: “100 percent, undoubtedly.
“I think Max knows that he has a different animal when he is Oscar in his mirrors, not much, from Lando.
“Just put the car, there is a decisiveness about what he did. You cannot criticize the Lando race because the way Mercedes has gone through, and in the end Max was a big degree.
“But somehow, I have no doubt at all, and the just words he says too, that Max realizes that Oscar realizes a different deal in fighting from wheel to wheel.”
He added: “There is something on the way … Lando is not quite decisive how to put the car when he excels, and he will learn from it.
“I think this is the exact place they are, but I will not say this will remain like this for the rest of the season.”
Favorite PiaSSTRI to the tournament?
His arrival in 2025, Norris was joint in the championship alongside Verstapen after the British driver had the upper hand on PiaSSTri last year and McLaren in an upward path.
But since his mistake in the Australian Grand Prix race, which opens the season when he ran widely and spa, PiaSSTRI has diverted tables and beat Norris by 39 points during the last five events.
Brundel said: “He has won four of the past six and appears to be the absolute world championship materials. I think the improvement rate was very strong, and he picks up things quickly.
“Near the end of last year, I think we have seen this kind of capabilities. Did you expect to reach such a method very quickly? Maybe, I did not.
“He just wins, wins, wins and appears confident of that and he is very unlucky than anything and everything. I just got it. I think Racecraft is stronger than Lando.”
