Sebastien Bassong believes that Brian MBEUMO will need time to adapt to the preferred Robin Amorim composition 3-4-3 if he joins Manchester United.
MBEUMO is about to move to Old TRAFFORD with United and Bringford are working more accurate details about a step of 60 million pounds.
The 25 -year -old has shone to Berntord since joining the bees from Toyes in 2019, but he did so in a right -wing position mostly.
Amorim prefers playing with the appearance of the wing and two creative midfielders playing more central behind the number nine.
This means that MBEUMO will have to adapt, but his Cameroonian colleagues Basong is confident that he has Nous to do so.
“His main balance is IQ. The way he moves in spaces means that he can get out of situations, from trouble. He is not a stubborn player who only runs to people, and this is what makes him unimaginable and difficult,” Passong told BBC World Service Sport today.
“It’s fast – but when I say quickly, I mean the way he moves. He is always in a state of move and he is very flexible to go and harm people. This makes him a very dangerous player.
“For me, I see MBEUMO really on the wing because it needs space. I do not see him tight in the middle of the traffic, in the middle of the garden, and this is the case if he plays behind the attacker.”
Patience may be required
Passong warned United fans that he might not be an immediate adaptation, adding: “I do not see this system from the beginning, but, on the other hand, he is a very smart player and Robin Amorim is a very backward coach. So if he is really careful with him, he knows exactly his place in his system.
“I think they were going to make some conversations. So if he went there, they will both be able to make them work.”
