Sir Mark Taker, HSBC president in September, will step down to become a non -executive president of Hong Kong AIA, Hong Kong.
Taker, who held the position of UK -UK, who has been in the UK, said last month that he will retire from the Board of Directors.
HSBC said that the head of the HSBC audit committee, Brendan Nelson, will take over as a temporary president while the bank continues to search for a permanent alternative.
Taker previously held the position of CEO of AIA from 2010 to 2017.
