Crystal Palace says “Marc Guehi” after Liverpool made a late offer to his Copts.
Guehi started the Crystal Palace match against Aston Villa as a captain on Sunday, where he scored a great effort to win his team at Villa Park.
Liverpool made an improved offer of 35 million pounds to Guehi on Saturday, which included a 10 percent sale condition. Palace will be ready to accept 35 million pounds in addition to 5 million pounds, but he also wants to replace the door.
But Glasner explained his feelings regarding what a palace should do after winning a villa.
“We must (keep GueHi) if we want to play a successful season,” Glasner said.
“We started a wonderful start, it was not defeated in these six matches, and they won the community shield. The second goal was qualified for the group stage of the conference league and we did so. The players told it was a good start, for a wonderful start we needed to win here and this is what the players did.
“But it is just a start. The first step has been taken. To play a successful season, we need Mark.
“It is not possible during one day to find an alternative that can play immediately in the Premier League. When you see our defensive preparation, this is our institution, and everyone knows exactly what to do, everyone can rely on each other. Mark is not a small part of this, it’s our leader.
“We have to keep it. I told the president. It is not mine.
“I love Mark, he is a professional player, a nice man but for the future of Crystal Palace, he is to play a successful season. We have to keep him. We talked about this situation and said, well, we only sell Mark if we have a suitable alternative.
Joe Gomez came in discussions between clubs, but Liverpool will not allow him to leave on loan and will be hesitant to sell. The 28-year-old appeared in Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal on Sunday.
