Maddie Prewett gives birth to her first child with husband Grant Trout

Prewett, 28, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 26, to reveal that she gave birth to a baby girl named Hosanna on Monday, January 20. Sharing a set of photos that showed the baby girl neatly wrapped in a white blanket and pink bow, Prewett simply captioned the series, “Hosanna Rose Trout 🩷 1.20.25.”

Trott, also 28, was seen throughout the snaps lovingly cradling Prewett’s face while breastfeeding the couple’s baby and posing for several photos alongside his girls. Troutt simultaneously shared the Instagram post via his account Private account.

“There wasn’t anything in my mind for even a moment that said, ‘This could be pregnant,'” she recalled when she took the test. “I don’t know why my mind didn’t go there.”

While Prewitt was “trembling” when she found out she was pregnant, she chose not to tell Trout right away because he was busy with his final week of work as youth minister at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.

“So, in my mind, I’m thinking, ‘Okay, I’ve got to keep it quiet, I’ve got to go to church and just focus on serving (Grant) all week,'” she recounted. ‘And what I’m going to do is I’m going to ask for a nice little gift to give him when I tell him we’re pregnant. It’s going to take a few days to get in anyway, so it’ll all work out.'”

She added: “I had to set aside this time during the week to pray and work with Jesus, and of course I wish I could have told Grant sooner but it worked out.”

Trout then revealed how Prewitt shared the news with him. “The first thing I see is this wooden frame that says, ‘We’re having a baby,’” he said. “And I looked down and there was a pregnancy test that said, ‘Pregnant,’ and next to that little Jordan shoe, and behind the Jordan shoe, was the same type of shoe, but in my size.”

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” Trout admitted, describing it as “one of the most surreal moments of my life.”

Prewitt previously competed for Peter WeberSeason 24 of Bachelor’s degree in 2020.
