Macron admits in French “repressive violence” in reducing Cameron “War”

France launched a “war” in Cameroon, which was characterized by “repressive violence” during and after the end of colonialism of the African country in the late fifties, and President Emmanuel Macron admitted in a letter published on Tuesday. The message, which was sent to his Cameroonian counterpart last month, is the latest example of France’s efforts in light of Macron to reconcile with its bloody colonial history.
