The Football Association said that it will not appeal the decision of an independent committee to remove the West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta from four GPS charges.
The written reasons for the decisions of the committee were published in the case on Wednesday afternoon.
The Union said that the penalties related to two charges were found – regarding the alleged failure to cooperate with the union’s investigation – will be determined by the committee at the earliest opportunity.
“The Federation is committed to ensuring the maintenance of football, and complete and comprehensive investigations will be conducted in serious allegations of violations of the rules,” the ruling body said in a statement.
He has deliberately tried to have a card in four games in the Premier League between November 2022 and August 2023, but the charges were not found.
The English Federation said that 253 separate bets put stakes on Paquetta that were broken yellow during the four matches, and the Federation said 27 can be linked to the player.
Hafez Paqueta had only had a real relationship with five people. He said he did not speak to the five regularly, and until then, rarely related to fame.
The English Federation said that the 253 bets have placed 47,000 pounds and a profit of 167,000 pounds.
However, the committee concluded that the analysis of betting data was not “an explanation of the heaviness of a spot.”
The committee added: “Instead, from the point of view of the committee, it is in many respects that do not agree with local reform, but it is consistent with alternative interpretations.”
David Moyes, former West Ham manager, and former Gramini League referee Mark Klatpurg presented evidence on behalf of Paqueta from the performance perspective.
“I watched the yellow card accidents closely, and based on my own football experience and my knowledge (Paqueta), it considers it completely within the natural scope of the procedures for this player.”
Clattenburg did not agree to the results presented by Stats Perform Services (SPIS) to support the status of the FA, and I felt that two fourth yellow cards should not be shown.
The committee concluded that there was nothing “in Paqueta’s behavior on the field”, which presented the FA case that he deliberately sought to reserve him in any of the four games.
The committee found that the Federation’s inability to determine one element of data from any of the mobile phones of the player who mentioned to the betting or had any connection to one of the four games related to the charges is an important point in favor of the Paqueta defense and indicated that he was sincere in his lack of interest in gambling.
The committee has not been deleted any negative conclusion from the fact that the messages were deleted from the Paqueta phone because the function of the automatic deletion of time has been activated. FA accepted that it cannot be proven that Paqueta has intentionally deleted any messages or contacts.
More than 300 deleted messages were recovered, none of them had to do with local formation. The committee said this was “a prominent reminder of the committee not to jump to conclusions and the risks of negative conclusions of unknown events.”
“Lucas is a deeply religious man, completely dedicated to his wife and young children. The evidence not only shows that he does not care about gambling at all, but he confirmed that his safety as a player and a person is undoubtedly doubt,” said Alastair Campbell, a partner at the legal office level and head of the Paqueta Legal Team on Wednesday.
“With this issue, he is no longer commented on it, he can stop talking to lawyers and focus fully on what matters more: faith, family and football.
“We are still advancing on the charges of lack of cooperation. But in the event that his entire career is in danger, Lucas is undoubtedly a successful party. It is a wonderful thing to see him playing well without this burden – Mujo has returned.”
