Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has issued a humble apology letter to a Brazilian influencer he was romantically linked to after he was caught exchanging messages with another woman.

“Since we met, she has come to Madrid three times to see me, leaving behind her routine, her commitments and her life just to be with me. I have met a wonderful mother and a wonderful partner.

“Even though we weren’t officially a couple yet, there was an honest connection.

He added: “I am not ashamed to admit that I was neglected, that I did not respond in the best way I could, and that I disappointed her.”

Vinicius hopes for reconciliation

Vinicius hopes that the duo can make amends and revive their relationship, adding: “That is why I want to apologize publicly, with an open heart, because I understand that a true relationship only exists when there is respect, trust and transparency.

“The idea now is to start over. No lies, no fights, no masks. With a lot of love, affection and respect.”
